Spotify Lite is an alternative version of Spotify that takes up less storage space but offers the same features with fewer resources. In total, this extremely useful music streaming app takes up 15 MB on your phone in its “light” version. Meanwhile, the full version of Spotify occupies 100MB of your storage. This light version of Spotify has an interface very similar to the original. There are three tabs in front of the button: Home, Search, and Settings.
From your home screen, you can access the last songs and playlists you were listening to before you left. Based on these songs, Spotify Lite contains a full list of suggested artists based on your tastes. The search for new songs is also simplified. You won’t find other users here and in your settings you’ll find songs you’ve tagged and custom playlists on Spotify. The idea behind Spotify Lite is to offer a streamlined and more limited experience while providing
quality music streaming, be it in non-random mode if you are a regular user or play the music you want. You want if you are a volunteer registrar.
You cannot create new playlists from the “Lite” app, nor can you stream any of the radio stations on Spotify. Spotify Lite is nothing, it’s a compact version of the original app that does exactly what you’ve come to expect from Spotify, but with no frills. Best of all is its small size and great control over the use of its resources. Another nice feature is that you can limit the data usage of your data collection by Spotify Lite monthly.
